Planned maintenance to upgrade our primary database cluster. The app stayed available in read-only mode for roughly 8 minutes during the cutover. No data was affected.
For about 35 minutes, transactional emails and mention notifications were delayed by a third-party email provider. The queue drained fully once upstream service recovered; no messages were lost.
A subset of API requests saw higher latency for around 20 minutes following a deploy. We rolled back the change and added a regression check to prevent a repeat.
We migrated edge traffic to a new CDN provider for faster global asset delivery. No downtime; the change was transparent to users.
